Summer Solstice 2007

In light of today being the summer solstice I thought I would share a few pictures from a walk I took with my friend Rachel last night.

I think we were gone for more than 2 hours.

These were taken behind the Windmill on Clough Street in Bowling Green, Ohio since it is currently uninhabited (going through renovations). My friend Guy lived there a couple of years ago. The pond here was once a quarry, and the rocks from the quarry were used to build the base of the Windmill.

Our friends here are a pair of mallard ducks, male and female.

Despite this picture being a really dark (and not photo-balanced) image, I like it.
