Evolution of a Drawing - Forced Separation
I added a diagram tracking the evolution of one of my drawings (actually a self-portrait) which made in April 2007. There are two more images in this set (portraits, but not self-portraits), modeled after a few photographs I snapped. I’ll post the gallery and some information about it in the near future.
The actual picture is rather huge (approx 22″ x 32″ - a guess, no measuring devices are handy right now).
Here is the link to the actual gallery for the image - each picture can be viewed one by one.
Neater, but perhaps more lame, here is a cheesy animated .gif image I made of the evolution. It kind of reminds me of a zombie, which I’m cool with for the most part. If you find this image annoying looking, I apologize.

I suppose it may also make a difference to see the images side by side, all at once, so you can check that out too, as follows.

Note: All pictures were taken with a crappy cell phone camera, and I am not a skilled photo editor when it comes to color matching/balancing. More of a disclaimer than anything. I really enjoyed the process of documenting the work, I will be working on the nuances of the rest of the system over time when I repeat this process.
